Australia is in the midst of an extremely dangerous public health emergency!
Innocent Australian children have been left to burn in their beds as youths are paid by organised crime to participate in a life-threatening firebombing rampage, delivering scenes that are more reminiscent of a war-torn nation.
Australian youths are being recruited by dangerous gangs in tobacco/vape turf wars that have escalated to executions involving firearms in broad daylight.
It has been widely reported that they are paid around $500 to firebomb businesses, cars and homes.
Collateral damage to adjacent premises has included a childcare centre, youth tutoring business, community hubs and other law-abiding small businesses, causing massive structural damage and financial hardship. This is the direct result of a flourishing black market, emboldened by Labor’s prohibition style tobacco and vape policy.
Youths as young as 14 are recruited by dangerous criminal syndicates and have been recorded on CCTV using accelerants to torch premises, leaving utter devastation in their wake. A number of youths have accidentally set themselves alight in the chaos.
This dire situation cannot continue, it is only a matter of time before Australia records a fatality as a direct result of these rampant firebombings.
Law enforcement is unwilling and unable to manage this violent, life-threatening situation.
There have been no less than 108 firebombing incidents since March last year. This is unacceptable and poses a clear danger to the community.
According to experts including former ABF chief Rohan Pike and criminologist Dr James Martin the Government is losing at least 40% of all tobacco taxes to the highly organised black market. Australian youths are being indoctrinated into a life of extreme, serious criminal activity, leaving their families and communities devastated and placing more pressure on law enforcement and the justice system.
The Government professes to have this situation under control, yet that is not what Australian citizens are seeing in the media on our screens every day.
We call on all levels of Government across Australia to address this public health emergency URGENTLY before more innocent people are caught in the crossfire and killed. We should not be gambling on the lives of our fellow Australians.
The only logical option left for our government’s to act now.
Regulate vaping sensibly for adults in strictly licensed, adults only premises and halt, or preferably, reduce further taxes on tobacco products.
This will be an effective solution that the Governments can implement immediately to halt the expansion of organised crime networks and produce far better health outcomes in the community.
Law enforcement and health authorities simply don’t have the resources or inclination to manage this dire situation.
