My name is Dave and I am 45 years old.
I started smoking when I was 14 years old. 
It was extremely easy to buy cigarettes when I was a kid from the local store.
How I did it was to keep the note that my Mother gave me when she sent me to the shop to say that I can grab them for her.
Also at that time, the legal smoking age in Tasmania was 16 years old.

I had been smoking for over 20 years and in high stress jobs so I was smoking a packet of 25's a day.
I first tried using the whole Nicorette range for months. 
Didn't work.
Tried Champix.
Had the worst nightmares and also had a rare side effect happen to my tongue.
After a lot of searching, I found the side effects and also why the drug is banned in Canada.
It is a failed anti depressant and should NOT be given to anyone as it doesn't stop your intrusive thoughts and makes you suicidal.
It made me extremely sick as well so I stopped.

I looked for an alternative and found an actual e-cigarette first and that helped to a point but I just went back to smoking.

Fast forward a few years and I buy my first box mod and import some nicotine and learn to mix my juice. I saved thousands upon thousands of dollars being able to do this.
9 years down the track, don't smoke and I rarely vape with no nic juice.
Latest x-rays I had on my chest showed my lungs had cleared up.
I could taste and smell again and breathe properly without coughing.
I only went to vaping because of the evidence to say it is safer than cigarettes and I am proof of that.

Mark Butler has removed my right to vape as an Australian.
I cannot abide by someone that doesn't listen to facts and science.
I also cannot abide a Government that is happy to let deals be made with Tobacco companies so they can sell their cheap vapes and liquid which is exactly the same as we use.
Mark Butler is a hypocrite.
He is using children as an excuse but all he has done is pushed more people towards the black market.

I am more than happy to have my face with this story.
I'm not afraid of any backlash because I have facts.
