I had smoked for 45 years up until 2013 when I finally did manage to stop Smoking. 

For at least the previous 10 years I had made efforts to stop smoking ,

these included NRT (patches,gums,sprays), acupuncture, hypnotherapy, Champix, Allen Carr book, some worked not at all, some worked briefly,but all ultimately failed.

 

I had approached the stage of 'giving up on giving up' when I read an account of someone using Vaping to Quit Smoking in the most unlikely of places :- a Pedelec Forum.

So I thought that some research was called for as that story inspired me to try again, I found 2-3 dedicated Vape forums in the UK and after 2 weeks of intensive research I ordered my first Vape kits and liquids.

Hey Presto , myself and my wife started together, this along with forum support meant it was a relatively pain-free, zero withdrawal, simple process that was a very unexpected success.

I will finally say that this unexpected success was as a result of repeated failure with all other methods, consequently I had no great expectations.

11 years on I am never tempted to return to Smoking, but luckily, until very recently, there has been very few imposed restrictions that would have an impact on my Vaping...unlike what I read about in Australia.
